Impact of Water Level Fluctuations on Landslide Deformation at Longyangxia Reservoir, Qinghai Province, China

The construction of Longyangxia Reservoir has altered the hydrogeological conditions its banks. Infiltration and erosion caused by periodic rise fall water level leads to collapse reservoir banks local deformation landslide. Due heterogeneous topographic characteristics across region, also varies between different location. Previous research on influence fluctuations in landslide focused single-point monitoring specific slopes, data have often been used instead for entire region. In addition, integrated remote sensing methods seldom regional analysis. this study, freely-available Landsat8 OLI Sentinel-2 were extract using NDWI method, Sentinel-1A obtain time series SBAS-InSAR technology. Taking Chana, Chaxi, Mangla River Estuary landslides (each having depths) as typical examples, changes three wading was analyzed. Our main conclusions are follows: First, change is primary external factor controlling velocity trend Reservoir, with falling levels greatest influence. Second, displacement lags 0 62 days. Finally, study provides a new method applicable other areas without data.
